Summer Reading is Here!Get excited about catching the reading bug at the Barton County Library this summer! The Summer Reading Programs will run from June 1st to July 31st. You may register online. The program is for kids birth-5th grade! (We offer a separate program for 6th-12 grades.) The Children's Summer Reading Program kickoff was a huge success with Brian Wendling's extraordinary juggling. Please check the schedule of Upcoming Events for the Story Time schedule at your local library. Teen summer reading gives all 6th-12 graders a chance to earn great prizes for reading! Sign up, read, turn in reading logs and earn book bucks! The book bucks can be used to buy candy or pop or saved up to purchase lots of other prizes at the Teen Store.
